Es así que a través de la educación ambiental en las escuelas y talleres se puede dar a conocer más sobre las tortugas marinas, su ciclo de vida, las amenazas y cómo ayudarlas.
Los esfuerzos de conservación de estas especies deben ir acompañados de estrategias de educación ambiental, dentro y fuera de las escuelas, con la finalidad de impactar positivamente no solo en los niños, sino en las comunidades costeras en general.
